About
I’ve taught English for over 20 years and worked as an IEP instructor in the U.S. for over a decade. I've been teaching at TIE since 2010, and I am still as passionate about my students' improvement as the day I started. I enjoy teaching all levels of proficiency, but my strength lies in teaching academic reading and writing skills. When not on the UIC campus, I enjoy cooking for my family, writing fiction, drawing illustrations, working with wood, distance running, and target archery.
