Introduction
English for International Professionals (EIPs) courses are part-time classes for non-native speakers of English. They are designed for intermediate to advanced students.
EIPs includes online courses, custom courses, and private tutoring.
Evening, Weekend, and Custom Courses

- Convenient–study online or individually with a tutor
- Customizable for businesses
- Focused on the skills that you need to improve
- Taught by experienced English instructors
Note: The Tutorium can issue the I-20 for groups enrolled in full-time custom versions of these courses.

Private Pronunciation Instruction
ELSI 070 Pronunciation
This course teaches pronunciation and speech modification techniques for non-native speakers of English. You will work one-on-one with an instructor to learn the keys to clear pronunciation: correct consonant and vowel sounds and American-style stress, rhythm, intonation, and pitch. To practice these elements, you will complete listening and recording assignments and receive personalized instructor feedback that identifies both where you need improvement and how to develop strategies for change. Flexible schedule and flexible start dates.
Tuition: $850 for 10 hours (You can sign up for fewer or more hours)
ELSI 076 Online Grammar for Clear Writing
This course focuses on producing clear, error-free writing at the intermediate to advanced level. Your instructor will guide you through advanced grammar review, writing sample analysis, and development of effective self-editing techniques. You work at your own pace and set your own deadlines, and you will receive detailed weekly feedback from your instructor. Flexible schedule and flexible start dates.

ELSI 077 Online Developing Effective Writing
This course focuses on how to produce concise, clear writing at the intermediate to advanced level. You will learn techniques for starting a writing project, working with outlines, creating clear paragraphs, crafting introductions and conclusions, and adding concrete details. You work at your own pace and set your own deadlines, and you will receive detailed weekly feedback from your instructor. Flexible schedule and flexible start dates.
