About
I have taught English as a second language both within the U.S. and abroad. My interests include phonetics, phonology, critical applied linguistics, and sociophonetics. Much of my research has focused on L2 influenced L1 sound change in Mexico City Spanish. In my free time, I enjoy writing, playing music, and biking along the lakefront.
Education
MA in Linguistics with a TESOL concentration, University of Colorado, Boulder
MS in Linguistics, Georgetown University.
