About
I lived in Bosnia and Herzegovina for 5 years after college, so I speak Bosnian and appreciate a good burek every now and then. I love learning languages and practice Korean and Spanish for fun on the side. I've always loved having fun in any situation, so I was the mascot of Georgia Tech during my undergraduate education. I dressed as a yellow jacket (named "Buzz") and entertained crowds for Georgia Tech sports. I love watching sports and getting involved in my school, so it was a fun job to have.
In terms of learning English, I love pronunciation and seeing that "light bulb" moment when students feel and hear the difference in their speech. I also like bringing structure to chaos -- helping the language students already have in their heads make sense!
