About
I was born in Chicago, but I first started teaching English to speakers of other languages while I was studying at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. I fell in love with teaching at that moment.
Since then, I've moved from teaching in Tuscaloosa, to Providence, to Evanston, and finally Chicago itself. I've taught every format of English studies, from experimental programs at Brown University, to traditional ESL at Northwestern, and even ran my own small ESL school on Michigan Ave. in Chicago in the late 90's. Now, I call the Tutorium home, and I'm so happy to be part of the great team here.
I love painting, drawing, really any 2d graphic art. I've always been into computers and tech, both for teaching language and for creating art. Reading science fiction, going to movies, organizing wine tastings, hanging out with friends and family, or just sitting alone in a coffee shop with a sketchbook, all make me happy.
