About
Umile (Tony) Belmonte graduated with an M.A. in TESOL from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS) at Monterey. He has taught ESL in university English Language Programs in Chicagoland and also in adult-ed at the community college level. Previously, he also taught EFL as a lecturer at the Shandong University of Science and Technology (SUST) in Jinan, China. Tony also holds a Teacher of English Learners Professional Educator's License from the Indiana Department of Education. He enjoys learning languages and, as a teacher of language, is fascinated by the process of second language acquisition. He speaks Italian, Spanish, and a bit of French and Punjabi.
