TIE Associate Director Retires

The Tutorium is both sad and happy to announce that Associate Director Fran Michalski will be retiring on June 30, 2021. She has been with the Tutorium for over 30 years. She started in 1991 as Program Coordinator, and has been the Associate Director for the last 20 years.
We were very lucky to have her on our team, and we will miss her greatly. Fran wants everyone to know that she’ll “miss working with students from all over the world and with the wonderful teachers and staff at TIE.”
She adds, “I’m ready to move on to the next chapter in my life with lots of travel, cooking, reading and just hanging out.”

The Tutorium without Fran will not be the same. She has seen the department go through many changes over the years, and her always having the student’s best interests at heart is the reason we remain a successful program. I will personally miss Fran, her accents, her phrases, and her love of fine food.
