Meet Content Creator - Aldo Cardenas
Aldo Cardenas is not only one of your classmates here at the Tutorium, but he is also a well-known content creator. With 4.1 million Tik Tok followers and 216k Instagram followers, Aldo uses grammatical errors to create fun and humorous videos that demonstrate how these errors can change the meaning of a phrase - making it more relatable and funny.
We had a chance to chat with Aldo about his passion for creating content centered around language and here's what he had to say!
What kind of content do you create and why?
Hello everyone! I create comedy videos in Spanish centered on grammatical errors. I also created a character specifically for the videos. One of the most important reasons I create this kind of content is that people need more reasons to laugh and take a break from stress. Another reason for creating this kind of content is through my content, I can teach people how grammatical errors can change the meaning of a phrase making it funny and relatable.
What is your motivation for creating content?
I think it is wonderful for people to learn through comedy. I remember how difficult it was for me to learn how to write correctly. My motivation is for people to learn grammar from a different perspective. In this case, my comedy relies on using common errors with an emphasis on making them funny.
Where can people view or access your content?
They can watch my content through various social medias such as: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Youtube and all of them are featured as "Sthebanaldo." Also, my podcast can be viewed on Spotify as "Cuentame el podcast con Sthebanaldo."
How many Instagram followers do you have?
Until now 216K, and I can not believe it.
How many Tik Tok followers do you have?
At this moment 4.1 Million. It is a lot, but it has been hard to get them.
Tell us a little bit about who you are and how your content reflects who you are.
I consider myself funny and outgoing. I’m the kind of person that likes to make people laugh and show them that even when things go wrong, we need to be positive as much as we can. Also, I think that giving a smile to people can completely change their day, which is why I like to give my best vibe to everyone out there. My content reflects that even when we make mistakes, we can see the good side of everything. At the end of the day, we are here to enjoy, laugh, and live.
If someone wants to pursue a career or develop their passion for creating content, what advice do you have for them?
This could sound trite, but never give up. Do what you like, be you, and show who you really are. Always show the real you, and try and try over and over again. If you want to pursue that thing you’re passionate about, go for it! And always remember to be open to advice and opinions and definitely be yourself when necessary.
