Through our Research Writing curriculum, the participants receive guided support to refine the structure, clarity, and presentation of complex research ideas in their writing. Participants build confidence in producing clear, cohesive, and publication-ready manuscripts for success in global academic and research settings.

- Participants work with their own research drafts and manuscripts, providing discipline-specific material for meaningful revision and improvement.
- Participants focus on structuring, organizing, and refining research manuscripts in preparation for future publication.

- Instructors serve as facilitators, guiding writing, revision, and feedback sessions to support the development of clear, cohesive, and publication-ready work.

This course can give you really useful tools to improve your writing skills, but it will be more effective if you are willing to share your own writing samples. Be prepared and dedicate some time to the assignments, it will make a difference in how much you learn and take from the classes.
One of my main takeaways from this course is to understand the importance of putting writing as a priority in my weekly schedule. It is hard to find a balance between bench work and writing, but we must try! Writing is part of our job as scientists and not “homework”. We should respect that and establish boundaries, so others respect our writing time as well.
