The Chicago, Communication and Culture (CCC) is a short-term English program in Chicago for visitors who want to explore the city while they improve their English.
In this program, students meet for classroom language instruction in the morning, then leave campus for language practice and cultural activities at Chicago’s most famous attractions, events, and neighborhoods.
The CCC program is ideal for students who:
- Are visiting the U.S. on a B-1 or B-2 (tourist) visa
- Are eligible to enter through the Visa Waiver Program
- Are U.S. citizens or permanent residents

Summer 2026 | 3- Week Program
Our Chicago, Communication & Culture (CCC) program combines daily English language instruction with guided activities, cultural exploration, itinerary planning, and program support, including CityPASS admission for participants, led by one of our expert instructors. Students strengthen speaking, listening, writing, and public communication skills in the morning and apply them in real-world settings across Chicago and UIC’s campus in the afternoon.
Dates: July 8 – July 25, 2026
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Sample Custom Program Schedule
